Introduction
If you are searching for a resident evil requiem safe code, you are in the right place. Resident Evil Requiem hides five combination safes, all found during Grace Ashcroft’s sections. Open them all and you unlock the “No Safe is Safe” trophy or achievement, plus coins, ammunition and supplies.
The good news is that you do not need to find every code file first. On normal difficulties the combinations never change, so you can enter the codes below directly on the dial. The catch is that there is no chapter select, so a missed safe stays missed unless you reload an earlier manual save.
All Five Safe Codes at a Glance
Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth mainline Resident Evil game, developed and published by Capcom, starring Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy. All five dial safes belong to Grace’s sections: three at Rhodes Hill and two in the ARK. The game launched on 27 February 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2, rated PEGI 18 in the UK.
Turn the dial left or right to each number in order, then confirm. If you turn the wrong way or overshoot, the dial resets and you can try again.

How to Open a Safe Without the Code File

Each safe normally has a matching file that reveals its combination, and reading files counts towards a separate file-reading trophy. You do not have to find those files first, though: walk up to a safe and enter the three numbers in order, paying close attention to left and right. That shortcut matters because the game has no chapter select, so keep a manual save at the start of each new area.
Rhodes Hill Safes
The first three safes are all in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center.
Bar & Lounge Safe
The Bar & Lounge safe sits on the bar counter on the second floor of the Care Center, in the room with the singing zombie in a white dress. You pass through this room as part of the story, but the safe is easy to miss behind the enemies around the bar: Left 10, Right 80, Left 30 on normal difficulty, for three Antique Coins.
A matching file, the Bar & Lounge Safe Code, can be found later in the game, but you do not need it. One caution: most guides list Right 20, Left 50, Right 30 on Insanity, but one reports the normal code working unchanged there.
Examination Room Safe
The Examination Room safe is in the east wing of the Care Center, reached after using the keycard in the Central Hall. Look inside a cabinet in the corner for another three Antique Coins: Right 30, Left 10, Right 50 on normal difficulty, and Left 50, Right 30, Left 90 on Insanity.
Basement Furnace Safe
The Basement Furnace safe is the most useful of the Rhodes Hill three. It is in a small side office in the Care Center basement, reached after collecting the Joint Plug from the Holding Cells Corridor and using it to open the Furnace room door. Inside is the Raccoon Roundup Map, revealing Mr. Raccoon locations, plus 10 Handgun Ammo.
Its code is the odd one out, because the file that reveals it is not found during Grace’s section at all. Guides report the clue sits in a cabinet in the Attic Storage room, which only Leon can open with his hatchet after the Attic boss fight: Right 60, Left 40, Right 80 on normal difficulty, and Left 70, Right 50, Left 20 on Insanity.
ARK Safes
The final two safes are in the ARK research facility, again during Grace’s sections. Both code files are hidden in Bioweapon Repository 5 on the third floor, in storage pods.
Sterilization Chamber Safe
The Sterilization Chamber safe is on the fourth floor east side of the ARK, just up the stairs from the lobby typewriter. The safe sits on a counter inside the chamber, and a Licker patrols the area on your first visit, so approach carefully: Right 10, Left 90, Right 20 on normal difficulty, and Left 80, Right 50, Left 0 on Insanity. The reward is 15 Handgun Ammo, one Molotov and one Med Injector.
Monitor Control Room Safe
The Monitor Control Room safe is the last of the five. From the ARK lobby, head to the small side room with banks of monitors, where the safe is hard to miss: Left 50, Right 60, Left 80 on normal difficulty, and Right 20, Left 0, Right 70 on Insanity. Inside are one Empty Bottle, one Bottle of Acid and one Med Injector for Grace’s crafting system. Opening this one, assuming the other four are done, should trigger the No Safe is Safe trophy straight away.
Insanity Difficulty: Every Code Changes
Insanity mode, unlocked after finishing the game, changes every safe combination, while the safe locations and code files stay the same. The table above lists both sets side by side. If a listed Insanity code fails, double-check your dial direction first, because a single wrong turn resets the sequence.
Two Extra Containers That Cause Confusion
Two other locked containers are often mixed up with the five dial safes. First, a sixth safe in the Waiting Room is already pried open when you arrive, so it needs no code: two Antique Coins on normal difficulties, empty on Insanity. Second, the RPD S.T.A.R.S. Office holds a three-letter briefcase, opened with the code R, R, R, learned from a note at Wesker’s desk and a photograph clue. It contains a charm and is not one of the five dial safes. Some guides say it also counts towards the No Safe is Safe trophy, while others say only the five dial safes do, so open all six containers on the same save file.
Conclusion
That is every resident evil requiem safe code you need, from Game Horizon: five dial safes, three at Rhodes Hill and two in the ARK, all found as Grace, all missable, and all openable without their code files. Keep a manual save at the start of each area and enter the numbers carefully, left and right.

FAQs
How many safes are in Resident Evil Requiem?
There are five combination dial safes, all found during Grace Ashcroft’s sections: three at Rhodes Hill and two in the ARK. A sixth Waiting Room safe is already open, and a separate S.T.A.R.S. briefcase uses a letter code.
What is the first resident evil requiem safe code?
The Bar & Lounge safe code is Left 10, Right 80, Left 30 on normal difficulty, and Right 20, Left 50, Right 30 on Insanity. The safe sits on the bar counter on the second floor of the Care Center.
Do you need to find the code file before opening a safe?
No. Each safe has a matching file, but you can enter the combination directly on the dial without reading it. Finding the files does help towards a separate file-reading trophy, so completionists should still pick them up.
What do you get for opening all the safes?
Opening all five dial safes unlocks the No Safe is Safe trophy or achievement. Rewards include Antique Coins, the Raccoon Roundup Map, Handgun Ammo, a Molotov, Med Injectors and crafting bottles.
Do safe codes change on Insanity difficulty?
Yes, every dial safe combination changes on Insanity, while the locations and code files stay the same. Use the Insanity column above, and note the reported disagreement over the Bar & Lounge safe, where one guide says the normal code may still work.
Can you go back for a missed safe?
There is no chapter select, so a missed safe cannot be revisited from the main menu. Your only option is to reload an earlier manual save from before you left that area.
